Before and After
Last weekend the lot next door to our house got cleared so they could build another house. They really only knocked down one big tree, a Birch. The lot had been cleared about three years previously, but I do hate to see our quiet street get more and more crowded. Below are before and after shots, each image is really two, pasted together to form the beautiful panorama you see.

First lemme' say that you did a great job of melting the photos together. Second of all, I'm sorry for the new house going in. When we moved here, we had 1.5 acres and nothing but countryside. Then a year after we moved in, some ding bat contractor came in, raped the land and built a subdivision, stopped the creek that runs thru the back part of our property and made our life miserable for 3 years from dirt, dust and noise....But I guess we can't stop progress untill you ARE somebody, have the right contacts and have a ton of money...none of which we have. Might be interesting to watch. You can document each day and we can watch the nasty progress of neighbors...debbie

What is the dark silver cresent shaped 'thing' to the left? A road?
That is the corner of our cul de sac.
