Good Sleep

Lat night was the first time I can remember where I slept all night. I usually wake up between 1AM and 3 0r 4AM. I feel really good this morning. The sunrise was nice too!

UGH

I don't want to go to work today, I want to go diving and to the beach. I need to find a job that combines my electronics resume with my scuba resume.

New Years Resolution

It seems to make more sense to make new years resolutions on your birthday than new years eve. Mine is to quit using foul language. It seems to be one of the side effects of anger, another thing I have been trying to control, maybe if I could control the elements of anger, I'd be abale to control anger itself.

A fungus among us? I found this disgusting thing out back at work next to one of my old satellite dishes. Makes me want to puke! What is it? Any ideas?

Totally Me

I was at the library yesterday and found this cartoon in the New Yorker magazine. It is totally me, I am a notoriously bad sleeper, I wake up every night and worry about everything from my job to diving to my dogs and everything.

Days getting shorter

It was a nice sunrise this morning, but I can already tell that the days are getting shorter! Pretty soon I'll have the candle out again for my coffee! The longest day was just a couple of weeks ago!

Is this true?

In the olden days, I don't know when it ended, the US Dollar was asset based. That means that for every dollar printed, there was a dollars worth of gold in the treasury.

At some point, the US government started printing money, without having the asset.

(To me, this is like writing checks without having money in your account)

If this is true, and the US government is screwing up anyway, why do they need tax dollars? If they need more money, they can just print it!

Impossible Shit

I have been busy at work with some impossible shit, old files that have been overwritten keep reappearing. For example, a grocery store does a weekly ad. This weeks ad overwrites last weeks ad, but the audio filename is the same. So the filename is something like grocerystore.WAV. Every day at the same time, the computer plays the ad, we jus re-record it. Well, suddenly, out of the blue, the old ad starts playing again. Several instances of this.
