The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued the pilot of a small plane who was forced to land in the Pacific Ocean after running out of fuel while flying from California...

Somebody didn't calculate fuel consumption to weight to distance very well, if at all, and forgot the 1st commandment of flight - safety first!!
He deserves to lose his ticket forever.
Hmmm...maybe next time he'll remember to put enough gas in the tank...or make the trip shorter. In any case, the pilot did a good job landing on water.
